Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions about your MYnextRING.

General & App

Are there subscription fees for accessing the MYnextRING app?
No. Our app is available to all of our customers free of charge.
Which devices are compatible with the ring?
The MYnextRING works with iPhones running iOS 15 or newer as well as with Android devices running Android 6 or newer.

Material & Wearing

In which colors is the ring available?
The MYnextRING is available in four colors: Black, Silver, Gold and Rose Gold.
What is the MYnextRING made of?
The ring is carefully crafted from durable titanium and reinforced with a tungsten carbide coating that increases its resistance during daily activities.
Can I wear the ring every day?
Absolutely. Our ring is made from hypoallergenic materials and is therefore suitable for constant, round-the-clock wear.
What should I do if my ring gets stuck?
The size of your fingers and the ring can fluctuate over the course of the day, so the ring may feel tight. If your ring gets stuck, these strategies help:
  • Moisten your finger with cold water and a little soap and then carefully twist the ring off.
  • Raising your hand can lower the blood pressure in that area, which makes the ring easier to remove.
  • If your finger has enlarged due to exertion or eating and drinking, give it some time to return to its normal size.
Is it safe to wear the ring on tattooed fingers?
Yes, you can wear the ring on tattooed fingers. Please note, however, that a dark and bold tattoo can affect the accuracy of the readings.

Measurement & Data

How does the ring capture and measure body signals?
The MYnextRING has a range of sensors, including a temperature sensor, a PPG sensor (photoplethysmography) and an IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) for motion measurement. These sensors capture the signals from your finger and enable the ring to collect vital data. The signals are then processed using advanced algorithms to give you deep insights into your metabolism and a comprehensive understanding of your body's dynamics.
Which specific parameters can the ring monitor?
The ring captures a comprehensive range of readings around sleep, movement and recovery. These include, among others, heart rate, HRV, body temperature, SpO2, sleep stages, movement frequency and recovery patterns. In addition, it offers real-time insights that support you in making healthier decisions every day.
What is heart rate variability (HRV)?
Heart rate variability (HRV) refers to the extent of the variation in your heart rate over a given period. It is a valuable measure for assessing physical well-being as well as factors such as tension and stress levels. In general, a higher HRV is considered an indicator of better overall health.
How does the MYnextRING differ from other wearable devices?
Unlike many other wearables, the MYnextRING focuses specifically on providing insights into factors that influence your body's metabolism. It measures key aspects such as sleep quality, sleep zones, stress levels (via HRV) and activity distribution — and links the data with real-time insights so you can make informed decisions for your metabolic health.
How accurate is the ring's data?
The readings derived from the ring are carefully compared with industry-leading, globally available fitness wearables.
Where is my health data stored?
Your data is hosted on our secure servers in Europe. This means: no health or profile data leaves the European zone.

Water, Battery & Care

Is the ring suitable for wearing underwater?
Yes. The MYnextRING is water resistant up to 5 ATM (≈ 50 meters) and can be worn while washing your hands, showering, bathing and swimming. It is not suitable for scuba diving or for water sports with high impact pressure. To maintain optimal performance, we advise against wearing the ring underwater continuously for more than 12 hours.
How long does it take for the ring to fully charge?
The MYnextRING needs about 2 hours to fully charge.
Is the ring safe from electrostatic discharge (ESD)?
Yes. Our MYnextRING is ESD-safe, so you won't experience any electrostatic shocks from the ring.

Safety & Medical

Is the ring considered a medical device?
Our MYnextRING is not classified as a medical device. Its sole purpose is to promote and support a healthy lifestyle. The ring is not intended for the treatment or prevention of illnesses and should not be used as a basis for diagnostic, treatment or dosage decisions. It does not replace a professional medical opinion or advice. Always consult a doctor or qualified medical professional before making changes to medication, routines or your diet — especially if you already have existing health issues. Please note that the accuracy of the biomarker data can be affected if you have been diagnosed with an illness. Do not disregard professional medical advice or treatment and do not delay it because of information from the MYnextRING app.
